Senior International HR Business Partner

As Senior HR Business Partner International, you act as a strategic HR partner to the International Director and play a key role in driving international growth, organizational transformation, and M&A integrations. You ensure strong alignment between local HR teams and Group HR while maintaining a consistent and future-oriented HR approach across multiple countries. As part of the international leadership ecosystem, you support the development and execution of the international growth strategy. You advise business leaders on organizational and people-related matters and ensure the effective translation of Group HR priorities into practice across international entities. You act as a bridge between Group HR and local business realities, providing insights, recommendations, and coordination to enable sustainable growth, successful integration of acquisitions, and a consistent employee experience across countries.

Your responsibilities

  • Provide strategic HR advice on organizational design, workforce planning, leadership, and organizational development
  • Support international growth and the scaling of entities
  • Lead and support organizational change and transformation initiatives
  • Anticipate the impact of business decisions on people and proactively develop appropriate solutions
  • Act as a trusted advisor on complex HR and organizational matters
  • Facilitate collaboration and knowledge sharing across international HR teams
  • Coordinate HR activities across multiple countries
  • Support mergers and acquisitions, including due diligence and post-merger integration
  • Identify talent retention risks and develop mitigation plans
  • Implement Group HR strategies while balancing global guidelines with local needs
  • Monitor HR initiatives and their impact on business performance
  • Analyze HR data and translate it into insights and recommendations for leadership
  • Develop dashboards and support data-driven decision-making

You are someone who

  • Has at least 10 years of HR experience, ideally in an international environment
  • Has experience as a Senior HR Business Partner, HR Manager, or in a similar strategic role
  • Has strong expertise in organizational development, change management, and business transformation
  • Has experience with mergers & acquisitions (M&A) and integration projects (a strong asset)
  • Demonstrates strong business acumen and financial awareness
  • Is analytically strong and able to translate data into actionable insights
  • Can influence and engage stakeholders at different levels
  • Operates effectively in a matrix and multicultural environment
  • Builds credibility and confidently challenges senior leaders in a constructive way
  • Has strong project and program management skills
  • Communicates and presents effectively
  • Is fluent in English and French/Dutch – German and Spanish are a plus
  • Is willing to travel internationally on a regular basis
