Modification of your company
Want to change your activities (NACEBEL codes) or add/move an establishment? We will enter your changes correctly in the Crossroads Bank for Enterprises (CBE) and – if necessary – take care of your VAT records too.
Matters we can take care of include:
- Adding NACEBEL code, changing activities
- Adding, moving or discontinuing establishment(s)
- Notifications to the VAT authorities
Typical requests to update CBE data:
- Add new business unit (extra branch)
- Discontinue existing business unit (close branch)
- Change company address (relocation)
- Add or change activities (NACEBEL)
Requesting a CBE extract
A CBE extract is the official document containing your company data (company number, activities, establishments, etc.). You often need it for a supplier, partner or government.
You can request a standard (non-legalised) or legalised CBE extract through Securex, depending on its intended use:
- Standard (non-legalised) CBE extract: An official document containing the basic details of your company, suitable for use within Belgium.
- Legalised CBE extract: You may have to present a legalised extract. If so, the FPS Foreign Affairs must affix proof of authenticity to the extract.
Closure of your company
Are you discontinuing your sole proprietorship or company? Send us your details, and we will tell you what administrative steps need to be taken with the competent authorities.
What can we take care of for you?
- Deregistration from the CBE
– Sole proprietorship (natural person): deregistration after your effective cessation
– Unincorporated organisation (e.g. partnership): deregistration after your effective cessation
– Company (with legal personality, e.g. bv/srl, nv/sa, vzw/asbl, etc.): discontinuation only through the registry of the competent business court
- Reporting discontinuation to the VAT authorities
- Unsubscribing from the Securex Social Insurance Fund (if you are affiliated to it)
Re-registering your sole proprietorship
Want to restart after an interruption? Then you need to reactivate your old company number (and VAT if applicable) before you start working again.
We can take care of:
- re-registration in the CBE (enterprise number, establishments and activities)
- (if applicable) (re-)registration with the VAT authorities
- re-registration with the Securex Social Insurance Fund
