What does the inspection do exactly?
The inspection has broad powers to check your company, along with obligations like confidentiality and proportionality. They can request documents, conduct interviews, and visit your workplace. Transparency and cooperation are crucial in this process.

How do you prepare?
Make sure someone is available who can effectively represent your company. Have all relevant documents ready, such as the labour regulation, labour contracts, and social documents. If you notice any irregularities, correct them or demonstrate that you are addressing them — this will be viewed positively.

What are your rights?
You have the right to a copy of the report and to receive assistance during the visit. You may choose to remain silent, but you must not lie. A correct and open attitude will help ensure that the inspection visit goes smoothly.
Transparency pays off
A social inspection does not have to be a stressful experience. With good preparation, transparency, and clear internal agreements, you as an employer will be in a strong position. This demonstrates that your social policy is in order, which is appreciated.
