Loan with little or no interest: how do you evaluate that advantage?
Employers sometimes offer their workers a loan at a lower interest rate than the current market rate, or even without setting an interest rate. The tax authorities and the social security office will consider such a loan as part of the worker's pay, which means social security contributions and advance tax levy are required.
Can you still request a medical certificate for one day from your employee?
Since 2023, employers can no longer ask their workers for a sick note on the first day of illness. Workers can now be absent a maximum of two times per year. If your company has fewer than 50 workers, you can make an exception to this rule.
