What are the main points of this agreement?
- From April 1, 2026, meal vouchers will be introduced with a value of 2.59 euros (1.09 euros from the employee and 1.50 euros from the employer). For employers who already provide meal vouchers, the current vouchers will be increased by 1.50 euros.
An additional 0.50 euros will be added later in 2026, on a date yet to be determined.
- The sectoral eco vouchers worth 115 euros per year will be abolished.
- A specific student rate will be introduced.
- The employer's contribution to the sectoral fund (Constructiv) will be reduced when hiring newcomers in construction. Additionally, agreements will be made to ensure the structural financial balance of Constructiv.
- The bicycle allowance will be increased on October 1, 2026 to 0.32 euros per kilometre.
- The CAO SWT for older employees with medical issues will be extended until December 31, 2026.
- The collective agreement for landing jobs; reduction by 1/5 or part-time from the age of 55, will be extended until December 31, 2027.
- Agreements will be made regarding the future employment of flexi workers in construction.
Pensioned construction workers will be allowed to take on flexi jobs in all roles. Other individuals will only be permitted to take on flexi jobs in roles that do not require basic safety training.
- The agreement strengthens existing initiatives regarding training and education, including a mandatory refresher of the basic safety training, no later than ten years after completing it. Meanwhile, the existing collective agreement regarding individual training rights will be extended until December 31, 2026.
- Agreements will be made regarding well-being, particularly concerning skin and musculoskeletal disorders, and safety, especially regarding road works.
- The existing outplacement collective agreement will be extended until December 31, 2026.
