Support through deferral of social contributions for the first semester of 2026
The government has announced that self-employed persons will be able to defer their social contributions for the first semester of 2026 by one year, without any increase and while retaining social rights.
Self-employed persons who are facing difficulties due to high energy prices will be able to request an exemption from their social contributions for the first semester of 2026 through a simplified request procedure.
Details on this will be announced later via a circular from the Minister for the Self-employed, Eléonore Simonet (MR).
