Flash Inspections
Flash inspections are pre-announced checks aimed at informing employers about their responsibilities under social legislation. During these inspections, authorities may take action and issue reports if they find serious or repeated violations. As an employer, it is wise to prepare for these flash inspections.
To help you, the SIOD has created checklists. You can use these checklists to ensure you meet all social obligations.
Which sectors are involved?
National flash inspections will take place in 2026 in the following sectors.
- January: Taxi sector
- March: Construction sector
- May: Transport and moving sector
- July: Hospitality
- September: Green sectors
- December: Security sector
