If you are introducing new equipment, then you have to first carry out an in-service inspection to determine whether the machine is safe and ergonomic and can be used in the workplace and meets the basic safety requirements of the law. The results of that inspection will be written up in an in-service report prepared by your safety specialist.
Note: An in-service report is also needed for machines that have already been in service for a while. If you have not prepared those reports yet, our specialists can do it for you efficiently and properly.
Securex has years of experience in preparing in-service reports. That experience is your guarantee that we will do it quickly and properly.
Our procedures are very clear:
The result is a clear report that complies with the law.
Equipment comes in all shapes and sizes. That’s why we always prepare a separate proposal for every compliance investigation. If only small equipment is involved (e.g. column drill machine, normal lathe, grinding machine, circular saw) then you will receive the proposal quickly by post or e-mail. For larger installations, we always take an on-site look first.
