Step 5: training management and key figures

The involvement and know-how of your employees are essential and contribute to the success of your action plan. That is why we will train your management and certain figures with regard to this matter.

Information and awareness

We will go over the results of the analysis and discuss the action plan. After the information session, your management and employees of the internal prevention department will be perfectly informed about the potential causes of absenteeism. And they will know how to deal with them.

Training: Absenteeism guidance

During the absenteeism guidance training, we teach your management and key figures how to deal with specific situations. They thus acquire important skills and manage to correctly deal with cases of absenteeism. We will adapt all the exercises in function of your action plan.


We mainly pay attention to:

  • Notifications of absenteeism by phone;
  • Contact during the period that the employee is unfit for work;
  • The interview upon the employee’s return, depending on the period of absence:
  • Meeting with frequently absent employees.


The training unfolds in four phases:

  • Drawing up scenarios and developing customized exercises, based on the material from analyses and discussions with employees;
  • Providing important background information concerning absenteeism statistics, reasons for absenteeism, underlying motives, sensitive matters, ...;
  • Assessment of the training;
  • Follow-up after three or six months and coaching in the field if necessary.
