Step 2: analysing your absenteeism figures

A useful analysis is always based on real data. That is why we start by gathering all the figures pertaining to the previous year, and integrate them in our specially developed models. These will yield clear results, which can be immediately used, and which we can compare with market averages.

Absenteeism audit: Absenteeism in your organisation

We analyse, interpret and present the figures of the previous year. We do this using clear tables and charts. Does your company have insufficient figures at its disposal? Then we will carry out a random sample and base ourselves on our benchmark survey.

The statistics provide a clear insight:

  • How long are your employees absent?
  • How often are they absent? And how long does this absence last?
  • Are your employees mainly absent for short periods of time and frequently, or rarely and for longer periods of time (the Bradford factor)?
  • ...

Benchmark: Comparing absenteeism with other companies

Every year, the Securex Research Center carries out a large-scale survey into absenteeism in Belgium. The figures are an interesting source of comparison for your company’s figures. We test your figures against the same criteria, and make them comparable per province, by age category, sex, status, company size and labour regimen.

This will help us know exactly how your company compares to other, comparable companies. An important element in the analysis and approach of absenteeism.
