Starting conditions

Before you can branch out as a self-employed entrepreneur, you need to comply with a number of legal conditions. Are these fulfilled? Then you’re ready to go. Most starters only have to meet the general start-up conditions.

General starting conditions

Are you of age, can you work in Belgium and can you prove your entrepreneurial skills? Then you can start a company.

Special starting conditions

You need to submit specific qualifications for a number of professions. Otherwise you are not allowed to perform this activity as a self-employed person.
