Are you affiliated with a social insurance fund and do you pay your contributions on time? Then you are entitled to these social benefits:
Pension: You will no longer have to work once you reach the age of 65. You are entitled to a monthly pension because you paid your social security contributions.
Child benefit: As soon as you have children you are entitled to child benefit from your social insurance fund. The contributions that you pay to your social insurance fund entitle you to a birth or adoption premium, monthly child benefit, increased benefit for disabled children and orphans, and a benefit for the children of disabled self-employed persons.
Bankruptcy insurance: Are you not responsible for your bankruptcy and did you duly pay your social contributions? Is this your first bankruptcy? Then you will receive up to six months' benefit to bridge this difficult period.
Motherhood benefit: Your social contributions entitle you to a motherhood benefit after the birth of your children on condition that you interrupt your activities for at least three weeks.
