Are you discontinuing your self-employed activity Then your duty to pay social contributions will also stop from the next quarter onwards. You will however retain all your entitlements to pension, child benefit and health insurance, if you start working as an employee immediately.
Did you discontinue your activity due to illness, meaning you can no longer work? Then you can ask to be considered equal to a disabled employee, on condition that you are more than 66 percent unfit for work.
